How to Turn on/off iPhone without Power Button

Power/lock button not working? Here I am going to introduce a tip to help you turn on and off iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch without the power button.

Part 1: How to Turn on iPhone without Power Button

1. Connect iPhone to USB cable;
2. Press and hold the Home button;
3. Plug the iPhone into computer, then the iPhone will automatically start.

Part 2: How to Turn off iPhone without Power Button

Fistly, set up Assistive Touch on iPhone:

1. Go to Settings on iPhone;
2. Tap General;
3. Choose Accessibility;
4. Turn on Assistive Touch;

Then:

1. Tap Assistive icon, then you will see Device;
2. Press and hold Lock Screen until the power off screen appears;
3. Now you can slide to turn off iPhone.
