How to Blur Photo Background with iPhone

We all know that blurred background is a wonderful photographic effect. Blurring the background can allow people to focus on the key of the photos. Most people think that only DSLR Camera can achieve the effect. But actually, it is not. Sometimes, our iPhone camera can be powerful which can shoot photos with blurred background.

I mean sometimes it’s powerful, which don’t mean you can blur the photo background all the time. If you have the trick, maybe you can capture the photos with defocus background successfully. This post is telling you how to blur photo background with iPhone step by step.

1. Open Camera app on the iPhone. Note that iPhone 3GS is unable to achieve this effect.

2. Place the iPhone in front of the background you need to blur from7 to 20
centimeters, and then long press the screen and release. You will see the AE / AF Lock words appear on the below or top of screen.

3. Put iPhone in front of the target away from 7 to 20 centimeters, then you will see on the screen, the target exceptionally clear and background has been blurred.

4. Hold your iPhone steadily, and then press the Volume button or Camera button to take a picture. After all the steps have been done, you will get a photo with blurred background.

If your iPhone has too many photos which can take too much storage, you can use the FonePaw iOS Transfer to transfer photos from iPhone to computer so that it can be a backup on computer. Next time, you can also use iOS Transfer to import pictures from computer to iPhone.
